The Queen does not want Glitch to recover the other half of his brain.

If he did, he might remember things best forgotten.

He might remember the real reason that she did nothing to stop the longcoats from taking him away.

He might remember the real reason that Ahamo was banished to the Realm of the Unwanted.

He might remember blue eyes meeting his across a Council table.

He might remember midnight meetings, stolen kisses, and broken vows.

He might remember a moonlit discovery, shattered hearts, and a kingdom in crisis.

All he remembers is that he likes blond men.
